Saturday, September 12, 2009 from 10-5 pm 31st Annual Bethany Beach Boardwalk Arts Festival www.TheQuietResorts.com --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------= Saturday, October 03 - Sunday, October 04, 2009 (10:00 AM-5:00 PM) Fall Festival of Folklife Newport News Regional Park One of Southeast Virginia’s biggest traditional craft shows, this annual event takes place in the pastoral setting of Newport News Regional Park Over 150 craftspeople display their wares. The juried crafts competition includes Best in Show and first and second place prizes in each craft category. The expanded Heritage Area includes demonstrations and displays in woodworking, spinning, sheep shearing, chair caning and quilting. Taditional foods available for purchase include apple butter and apple cider. There is a children’s area with make-and-take crafts, as well as plenty of food and beverage vendors. Continuous entertainment on four different stages spread throughout the festival grounds.
